عرفان قانعی فرد را به ایران نفرستید

To Whom It May Concern

Dear Sir/Madam,

On behalf of the New Constitutionalist Party of Iran, I am writing to express our urgent concern regarding the imminent deportation of Mr. Erfan Ghanei Fard.

We understand that Mr. Fard is currently slated for removal to Iran, a decision that, if executed, would undoubtedly place his life in extreme jeopardy.

While the New Constitutionalist Party of Iran fully respects and supports the sovereign right of the United States of America to enforce its immigration policies and maintain the integrity of its borders, we believe Mr. Fard’s specific circumstances warrant exceptional consideration. This is not a typical case of immigration enforcement but one that involves a direct threat to human life and fundamental freedoms.

Mr. Erfan Ghanei Fard is a distinguished Iranian author and a fervent critic of the current Islamic Republic regime.  For many years, he has been an outspoken activist, courageously utilizing his platform to document and expose the egregious human rights abuses, systemic corruption, and oppressive policies perpetuated by the Iranian government.  His numerous articles, essays, and interviews, some of which have been prominently featured in international publications, including Israeli media, have made him a highly visible and undeniable adversary of the regime.

His intellectual activism and public denunciation of the Islamic Republic make him a prime target for persecution, arbitrary detention, torture, or even execution upon his return to Iran. The regime views any perceived collaboration with "enemy" states, or any significant criticism from prominent figures, as acts of treason punishable by severe penalties.  Mr. Fard’s consistent advocacy for a free, democratic, and secular Iran, coupled with his distinctly pro-American views and his vision for strong future alliances between the United States and a liberated Iran, further solidify his perilous position.

Therefore, we respectfully and urgently implore the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to reconsider Mr. Fard’s deportation. We request that you halt this impending removal and explore all available avenues to grant him asylum or other forms of protective status, thereby ensuring his safety and allowing him to continue his valuable work from within the United States.  Allowing Mr. Fard to remain in the U.S. would not only uphold humanitarian principles but also align with the broader U.S. foreign policy objectives of supporting democratic aspirations within Iran.

We earnestly hope that this critical appeal will be met with the compassion and strategic foresight it warrants.

Most respectfully

Shayan Arya

Secretary General

New Constitutionalist Party of Iran
